December in Anza Borrego State Park

Between the 13th and today--New Year's Eve, I have spent one week at Clark Valley camping. It was wonderful. I took walks with my dogs, tried out my new TV and solar panel, cooked great food, ate awful food in town, enjoyed the 70 degree days in shorts and sandals and used every warm bit of gear to also enjoy the 32 degree weather when my dogs wanted to get out of bed at 5:30 and go for a "walk." Their dog water dish had ice on two mornings.

Between 6 am and 10 am the temps went from 32 to 72. All I can say is bring the right gear and enjoy the winter weather. Shorts and sandals. I got a nice tan between Christmas and New Years. I also was wrapped up like a mummy and my dogs slept under a pile of blankets. My fleece long johns and pants that I bought from Campmor were exactly the right thing.

Here are the photo's.
