Shooters---Don't like 'em!

People who use our public lands for shooting, need to remember that they must ALWAYS respect the laws about where and how you can discharge firearms. I was camping at my favorite spot this past weekend and had to spend two hours cleaning up after illegal shooters. This time it was someone who was trap shooting with a shotgun. They left a case of broken fluorescent orange clays scattered about the forest. What a mess. I picked up three shopping bags full of broken clays, whole clays, shells, and plastic wads. There was also a spent clip worth of shells from an AK. If the guy hadn't been such a bad shot---many of the clays were unbroken-- it would have taken another hour to clean up the mess.

It only takes one a**hole to make all gun owners look bad. But there are plenty of them out there.

Unfortunately, this statement is true. I'm a shooter myself but I've seen plenty of public shooting areas that have been trashed to hell. It's embarrassing.

Thanks for picking up the trash. I try to do the same thing when I'm out there, camping or shooting.

Half of those are still good! You should resell them.
