does any one know were you can hike in and camp in the socal area, im looking for a place were you just park your car and hike in and camp. please let me know of any places. thank you

There are many areas like that. Refer to the post last week about Bear Creek in the San Gabriel River area out of Azusa. Further south in the San Jacinto Mountains we have spectacular high mountain yellow post site camping. Reserve with the area ranger beforehand. In the San Bernardino's there are great back packing opportunities in the San Gorgonio area either from Forest Falls or from Poop-out Hill.
