Holy crap, I can see the huge smoke cloud, from the Arrowhead Lake fire, from my house. There's also another fire in Irvine, so all toll roads were closed this morning. It took me like 2.5hrs just to travel 50miles. :o :shock: I already told the office that I won't come in if the condition doesn't improve.

Storm and her hubby had to evacuate last night in Canyon Country. They were allowed back today at like 2pm. Joel (casper) took a handfull of pictures of the smoke, it was pretty bad but thankfully the flames didn't reach their house.

Even though I live 30+ miles from the nearest fire, the air quality was terrible today. The sky was like an orange sunset all day. Then I found this article explaining how Long Beach can be a bad air dumping grounds.

We have family in San Diego including an aunt with a couple dozen properties, but so far none in danger.

Finally, I see a clear sky. Irvine is still pretty bad today.
